Pakistan violates ceasefire in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch

Srinagar, July 12 ; Pakistani troops on Friday initiated unprovoked firing
with small arms and shelling with mortars along Line of Control at various positions in Mankote, Krishna Ghati Sector, District Poonch and Nowshera Sector, District Rajouri in Jammu and Kashmir.

Pakistan started firing at 8 AM today and Indian Army is giving them a befitting response . Pakistani rangers on Wednesday night violated the ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch’s Digwar sector, an official said.

On Monday, Pakistan Rangers had violated the ceasefire along the LoC in the Nowshera sector of Rajouri district. A civilian had sustained injuries in the firing.
