Pakistan violates ceasefire along LoC in Poonch: Infant dies, two injured

Jammu, July 29 A 10-day-old baby died and two were injured after Pakistani troops violated ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.

The infant was injured , his mother Fatima Jan (35) and another civilian Mohammad Arif (40) were injured when mortar shells fired by Pakistan hit their village in Shahpur sector late Sunday.

The Pakistan Army had resorted to unprovoked shelling and firing in Shahpur and Saujiyan sectors of the LoC to which the Indian Army also retaliated.
