Pakistan skips military meet of Shanghai Cooperation Organisation in Delhi


New Delhi, Sep 12 : Pakistani delegation skipped the first military co-operation of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) being held in New Delhi .

Indian officials said that since Pakistan is a member of the SCO, it was invited to the event.

Indian Air Force Chief B S Dhanao on thursday stressed on the need for Armed Forces medical Sercices to keep pace in terms of technology and expertise.

Military medicine experts from Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) member countries are in Delhi for a two-day conference from September 12, aiming to share best practices in the field and build capacities.

This is the first military cooperation event hosted by India under the SCO Defence Co-operation Plan 2019-2020 after it became a SCO member country in 2017.
