Islamabad, May 12, 2017: At least twenty people were killed and several others injured in a blast at Mastung in the Balochistan province of Pakistan on Friday, according to media.
The blast took place in Mustung, some 90 km from Quetta.
As per initial reports, Deputy chairman Pakistan Senate Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri is reportedly injured in Mastung blast.
He was returning from an event at a seminary near the site of the blast, media reported.
Haidri’s vehicle was completely damaged in the bombing as were several other vehicles.
Two other people travelling with Haidri also sustained injuries. Rescue operations are underway, said the police.
