Dec3 : After All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen president Asaduddin Owaisi claimed ‘Allah will defeat Prime Minister Narendra Modi’, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath responded by threatening AIMIM leader that he would have to “flee Telangana the same way the Nizam was forced to flee Hyderabad” if the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) came to power in the state.
Adityanath, who landed in Hyderabad in the last leg of campaigning, said the BJP will give security to all but will not allow those who spread anarchy.
Owaisi attacked the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and the BJP, saying “Ye Mulk Aapka hai, Mera Nahi hai? Kya BJP ke Khilaaf Bolna, Modi ke khilaaf bolna, uski policies ko criticise karna, RSS ke khilaaf bolna, Yogi par bolna, to kya mulk se bhaga denge? (Is this country only yours, not mine? If I speak against the BJP, PM Modi, the RSS, Yogi, criticise Modi’s policies, will you throw me out of the country?),” he said at an election rally in poll-bound Telangana’s Malakpet. “This is not yogi thinking, this is Modi thinking… Allah hi harayega Modi ko.”
Adityanath said KCR had, before the 2014 elections, promised to make a Dalit Chief Minister if his party came to power. “Now, they (TRS) are handing over the ‘virasat’ (legacy) to (his) son and daughter.”
