Hyderabad, Sep 17: Osmania General Hospital Junior Doctors’ Association held a protest on Monday demanding the construction of a new building.
In the recent past, several incidents of falling ceiling fell on patients, doctors have been reported.

“Pieces of the ceiling fell on patients, doctors, & other staff. We demand Telangana government to immediately construct a new building & provide a safe environment to doctors and patients” Dr. Panda, chairman of Osmania University Joint Action Committee (OUJAC) had told ANI.
Earlier last week, Doctors, nurses and other staff of the state government-run hospital wore helmets during duties as a mark of protest against the poor condition of the building.
Prior to this, they had conducted out-patients checkups under trees.
