One killed, two injured as Pakistan violates ceasefire in Kathua’s Hiranagar sector

Srinagar, May 23: Pakistani Rangers have yet again violated the ceasefire on Wednesday in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua district. 

In the Hiranagar sector, the Pakistani forces killed one person and injured two after heavy shelling from the other side.

One dead, two injured after heavy shelling from Pakistan in Kathua’s Hiranagar sector, news agency ANI reported.

Meanwhile, Ceasefire violation by Pakistan continued in Jammu district’s RS Pura sector also.

Pakistan has violated the ceasefire on Monday in Ramgarh sector of Chambliyal area. As per the reports, it was the fourth violation in a span of 18 hours.

Amid ceasefire violation by Pakistan along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir, On Tuesday Home Minister Rajnath Singh said that the Indian side must only retaliate and not be the first to fire the bullet.

While addressing at BSF investiture ceremony, the minister further stated “We are a peaceful country. We want to maintain good relations with all nations, not just our neighbouring countries.”

“Pakistan is very notorious. You shouldn’t be the first to fire the bullet at your neighbour. But if they fire at us, you should retaliate. Then no one will question your move”, he added.
