New Delhi, Oct 17: The Patiala House Court on Wednesday issued a non-bailable warrant against Ashish Pandey, son of the former Bahujan Samaj Party MP, who was seen brandishing a gun outside a five-star hotel in the national capital.
Meanwhile, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh police continued the hunt for Ashish.
According to the police, Pandey’s mobile telephone’s signals were last picked up in Uttar Pradesh’s Basti district bordering Nepal.
The telephone now appeared to be switched off, the officer said.
On Tuesday, authorities alerted airports and Delhi Police personnel reached Lucknow in search of Pandey.
Ashish, who is the son of former BSP MLA and MP Rakesh Pandey, whipped out his pistol during a scuffle with another man and his woman friend at Hyatt Regency in south Delhi on Sunday late night.
