Bhopal, May 13: Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Monday attacked the Narendra Modi government over host of issues including farmers plight , demonetisation and unemployment.
Addressing a rally in Madhya Pradesh’s Ratlam, Vadra said that “Normally, political leaders should talk about real issues during campaign, like what are your problems, how it can be solved, what they will do in next five years, what they did in last five years”.
“But in the last five years a strange silsila (series) is on. Only campaigning is going on, no actual work was done,” she added.
due to note ban not even a single rupee of black money came back into the financial system and claimed it destroyed 50 lakh job opportunities.
Priyanka also accused PM Modi of ignoring the poor and farmers.
“When farmers marched to Delhi and raised their demands, our prime minister stayed silent. He didn’t step out of his office for 5 minutes. He has no time for the poor and farmers. He only has time to meet the world leaders” she said.
The Congress leader, who arrived in Madhya Pradesh earlier in the day, also offered prayers at Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain.
