No Parliament tribute for Martyrs dismays Rahul

New Delhi, Nov 30: Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday said for the first time Parliament did not pay respect to “martyred” soldiers who died in terror attack on Tuesday.

He said that it has never happened before and no obituary refrence was made regarding the same in Lok Sabha.

“Today, probably for the first time, we did not pay respect to the soldiers who were martyred. So, our party with (other) opposition parties walked out of (the Lok Sabha),” Gandhi said.

Rahul, after the house was adjourned, spoke to media. The house was adjourned as the choas in Lok Sabha over demand for tributes to martyred who died in Nagrota terror attack. The attack left seven army men, including two officers, dead.
