No medical bulletin about Jayalalithaa’s health status on 6th day


Chennai, Oct 17: There is no medical bulletin about the health condition of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J.Jayalalithaa for sixth consecutive day, who admitted in Apollo Hospital on 22 September.

The last bulletin was issued by Apollo Hospital on October 10, stated that Jayalalithaa is under observation of intensivists and other consultants.

In the October 10 bulletin, the hospital said: “Necessary respiratory support, antibiotics, nutrition, supportive therapy and passive physiotherapy are being given.”

The doctors later said that 68-year-old Jayalalithaa needed a longer stay at the hospital as she was suffering from infection and put her on respiratory support.

Meanwhile,  VIP’s continued to meet the ailing minister. Tamil movie actor Rajinikanth on Sunday visited Apollo Hospitals to enquire about Jayalalithaa’s health.
