Bhopal, Dec 17: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath on Monday said that there is no case, FIR, or charge sheet against me in the 1984 Anti-Sikh riots case.
Reacting to the allegations made by the Bharatiya Janata Party and Akali Dal, Nath told media “I took oath in 1991 and several times after that, no one said anything. There is no case,FIR,or chargesheet against me”.
He was sworn in as the Chief Minister the 18th Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh on a day the Delhi High Court convicted Sajjan Kumar in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots, sparking calls that Kamal Nath should not be made Chief Minister.
“Today they are raking up this matter. You can understand politics behind this”, he said.
“Did eyewitness tell you(about his involvement)?”, the Chief Minister asked.
