Patna, July 28 : It appears that Nitish Kumar is unhappy with  BJP as Bihar Chief Minister  skipped the event celebrating the first anniversary of the NDA’s rule in Bihar and also avoided to present his report card.

No reason has been cited, but Nitish Kumar attended another function of starting  the construction work of a record number of 11 lakh homes under the Prime Minister Rural Housing Scheme, where his deputy Sushil Modi was also present.

Nitish Kumar’s party workers also skipped the airport welcome for Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) President Amit Shah when he landed in Patna.

Earlier, Nitish Kumar  had skipped the function on the first year of the Grand Alliance government in 2016 when he cited a train accident as the reason for the miss. But it was not that he had not prepared the report card — it was later printed and distributed to the media.

Nitish Kumar is upset with the party as Prime Minister Narendra Modi decided against the Rs. 7,600 crore demand for flood relief.Bihar got only Rs. 1,700 crore from which Rs. 500 crore was deducted and announced as immediate relief funds.

The BJP had expressed its unhappiness over the crackdown on scores of leaders over the violence that started after religious posters were found torn.

Union Minister  from Narendra Modi government, Giriraj Singh acted in a controversial manner by publicly showing his support for riots -accused Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad activists by  meeting them in Bihar’s Nawada jail .

Giriraj Singh visited Bihar’s Nawada jail  and met Bajrang Dal’s Jitendra Pratap and VHP’s Kailash Vishwakarma , the jailed right-wing leaders .The meeting lasted for 30 minutes.

After the meeting, the Union Minister of State for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises expressed grief over the arrest of the activists saying they were framed.Singh further accused the Nitish Kumar-led state government of having a mindset of suppressing Hindus for communal harmony.
