Patna, July 11: Bihar Chief Minister and Janta Dal United Supremo Nitish Kumar has given four days ultimatum to Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) to decide on Tejashwi Yadav.
JDU came up with this decision in a meeting of party’s top leaders held at Nitish Kumar’s Anne Marg residence over the CBI raids on ally and RJD chief Lalu Prasad and his family.
While addressing a press conference, JDU leader Neeraj Kumar said We know how to maintain alliance and we expect that the people who have been accused will soon reveal the facts in public domain.
JDU’s Ramai Ram told ANI that party will discuss the issue after four days.
Prior to JDU’s crucial meeting, party leaders made it clear that there would be zero tolerance against corruption.
Earlier on Monday, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) said that deputy chief minister Tejashwi Yadav would not resign from Nitish’s cabinet.
