NIA arrests two from UP in connection with terror funding case

New Delhi/Kanpur, July 25: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Tuesday arrested two more people in connection with terror funding in Jammu and Kashmir from Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh.

Arrested persons have been identified as Atif and Asif, an official said.

Atif was arrested on the charges of importing weapons and ammunition to the separatists and Asif was said to be a part of the conspiracy.

The arrest comes a day after, when NIA nabbed seven Kashmiri separatist on charges of receiving funds from Pakistan to fuel up terror activities and stone pelting in the valley.

Both were linked to  Kashmiri separatist leader Peer Saifullah, who was among seven separatist leaders arrested by the NIA on Monday.
