Nation celebrates Id-ul-Zuha; Prez, PM extents greeting

New Delhi, Sep 13, 2016: The Nation on Tuesday celebrate the auspicious day of Eid al-Adha, one of the two most important festivals in the faith’s calendar by offering prayers at India’s biggest mosque Jama Masjid.

President Pranab Mukherjee and Vice President Mohammed Hamid Ansari have greeted the people on the occasion.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and vice-president Rahul Gandhi has conveyed his greetings and best wishes on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

Eid-ul-Zuha or Bakrid is being celebrated in different parts of the country today.

Special prayers will be held in Mosques and Eidgahs. In Delhi, main Eid congregations is being held at Jama Masjid, Fatehpuri mosque and Shahi Eidgah.
