New Delhi, March 12 : NCP supremo and former union minister Sharad Pawar said Narendra Modi will not be the prime minister after these Lok Sabha elections as BJP won’t be able to form the government at the centre without the help of other parties.
“From what I can understand a little about politics, I can say that I don’t think Modi ji will be the Prime Minister after these elections. I am not an astrologer but I think that they will not get the required number of seats,”Pawar said.
“I think BJP won’t get a clear majority, they’ll get less number of seats. They might be the single largest party. After being the single largest party, they won’t have a desired PM. They will have to seek other parties help and if that happens they’ll have to look for a new PM,” Pawar added.
NCP supremo Sharad Pawar, who is at the centre of ‘Modi hatao’ campaign announced his decision not to contest the Lok Sabha election this time and BJP claim that Sharad is “fear of losing”.
Polls for the Lok Sabha elections will begin on April 11 and conclude with vote counting on May 23
