New Delhi, July 13: Former Chief Minister of united Andhra Pradesh N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Friday rejoined the Congress party.
Addressing a press conference after rejoining the Congress, he said “In spite of 4 years, BJP govt has failed to implement special status category. An assurance given in the House is the will of the people, otherwise, people will lose confidence in the government”.
“I’m very happy to be coming back to the Congress family. With whatever little I can work for the party”, Reddy added.
Reddy joined the party in the presence of AICC Andhra Pradesh in-charge Oommen Chandy, Surjewala and APCC chief N Raghuveera Reddy at the AICC headquarters in the national capital.
The Former Chief Minister of united Andhra Pradesh had resigned from Congress in 2014 and floated his own Jai Samaikyandhra Party.
