MP CM Shivraj Chouhan seeks comfort in flood


Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh where more than 10,000 people lives were affected from flood. On his visit to take a stock on the situation of state opted to be lifted by security guards as he did not want to get his clothes wet.

The news went viral after the photograph of the chief minister came in highlight.

In the photo, two police personnel are seen lifting Chouhan as they walk through ankle-deep water. Chouhan is seen managing to stay dry as his arms are wrapped over the policemen’s shoulders.

Heavy rain lashed the state for the last two days and till last evening rain-related mishaps had claimed 15 lives. Chouhan met the flood-hit people and assured help for the victims of the rain fury across the state.
