“God could not be everywhere, and therefore he made mothers” – Jewish proverb

Referring to above the proverb, which describes Mother as a messenger of god and love for her child is like nothing else in the world.

Being a mother is a privilege and on this special day we wish all the mothers (the Goddesses) Happy Mother’s Day.

It’s not just a day, it’s a tribute to motherhood which we celebrate. So, let see what b-town celebrities have to say on Mother’s day to all the mothers across the world.

Lata Mangeshkar: Namaskar. Maa ke naam sirf ek din kyo jab ki hamara jeevan hi uska diya hua hai. (Why dedicate only one day to mothers when our life is a gift from them?)

Hema Malini: From one mom to all you moms out there — a very happy Mother’s Day filled with love, joy and complete bliss. Be cherished.

Madhuri Dixit-Nene: To all of our mothers, who brought us into the world, nurtured us and supported us: Happy Mother’s Day!

Boman Irani: Wah maa. Mother’s Day everyday.

Sajid Khan: To all my friends and their moms — Happy Mother’s Day. Remember moms are always right even if don’t agree at that time.

Farhan Akhtar: So much of a mother’s time is dedicated to her children, that she could have, consciously or unconsciously, put aside some dream or goal she had for herself. Today, ask her if there is any such unfulfilled dream and if so, support her to achieve it. Like she has you through your life. Happy Mother’s Day.

Shilpa Shetty Kundra: Happy Mother’s Day to all you wonderful women out there. Perfecting the balancing act.

Lisa Ray: This Mother’s Day honouring all the goddesses in my life.

Halle Berry John Wick 3

Los Angeles, April 10 : Actress Halle Berry says she did “John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum” as it gave her a chance to kick ageism in the face.

Asked if it is true that she took up “John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum” without reading the script, Berry said: “Yes, because I was such a fan of ‘John Wick’ 1 and 2. I knew what it would require of me and the chance to kick ageism in the face.”

“People at a certain age believe they are done and cannot do certain stuff. I knew that this would give me a very great platform to show something different which is very important,” she added.

The “John Wick” franchise, starring Keanu Reeves, has raised the bar for action films mainly due to its departure from the cliche action aesthetic.

The third chapter of the film franchise “John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum” released last year. It will air in India on April 12 on Star Movies. Stuntman-turned-director Chad Stahelski helmed the third movie as well. It also stars Laurence Fishburne, Mark Dacascos, Asia Kate Dillon, Ian McShane and Lance Reddick.

Talking about how she got the role in the third part, Berry said: “I got a phone call from my agent and my manager saying ‘They’re doing a 3 rd installment of John Wick. Did you ever see John Wick 1 and 2?’ I said ‘Oh my god! I love it! What do you mean if I ever saw it? Of course I’ve seen it. Are they making a three?!’ they said ‘Yeah and there is a possible role for a bad a** female, would you be interested?’ I said ‘Call up Chad right now and get a meeting for me, I have to be in this movie!'”
