Srinagar, Jan 17: Northern Command chief Lieutenant General Ranbir Singh on Thursday said that more than 250 terrorists were killed, 54 caught alive, and 4 surrendered to the forces.
“2018 was a great year for the security forces, more than 250 terrorists were killed, 54 were caught alive, and 4 surrendered to the forces”, Singh told media
“In the last few days, as you mentioned in your question, 5 Pakistanis were killed, it shows that Indian Army is always ready to give them a befitting reply”, he added.
The Lieutenant General was speaking at the inaugural event of the Kalai Bridge in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
On bieng asked about the use of Improvised Explosive Device (IED) by the Pakistani Army, Singh stated “The use of IEDs by Pakistan is not a new thing. From time-to-time they use IEDs to attempt intrusion into our area. But, we are well equipped to deal with them in a manner so as to reduce the number of casualties we face due to them”.
