Moon pays homage to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat

New Delhi, July 10: Visiting South Korean President Moon Jae-in and his wife Kim Jung-sook on Tuesday paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat in the national capital. 

Earlier in a day, Moon Jae-in received ceremonial reception at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

President Moon, who was accompanied by his wife Kim Jung-sook, inspected a guard of honour.

Later, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold official talks with President Moon at Hyderabad House, followed by an official lunch.

Duo will also address the India-South Korea CEOs roundtable.

In the evening, resident Moon will call on his Indian counterpart President Kovind, who will host a banquet for the visiting dignitary and his delegation.

President Moon, who arrived here on Sunday on his maiden official visit to India leading a 100-member business delegation, on Monday inaugurated the world’s largest mobile factory in Noida unveiled by the tech major Samsung.
