Prime Minister Narendra Modi uses the question of the Congress party, which is the core issue of the general public in the country to his advantage.
Immediately taking the stage in Kokrajhar, Modi started his speech with the mention of the Rahul Gandhi’s statement and tried to take sympathy of the crowd by saying,” Kabhi kabhi log danda marne ki baatein karte hain. Lekin jis Modi ko itne badi matra mein mata aur beheno ka suraksha kawach mila ho us par kitne bhi dande gir jaye, usko kuch nahi hota (At times some leaders talk about beating me with sticks, but I’m saved by the blessings of all mothers of India. I pay my respects and thank all of you. I am here to instill a new belief in all Assamese people)”.
A day prior to this, He also specifically mentioned during his motion of thanks to president that he is being abused by the Opposition and now is has become used to it.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi had said that youth will hit Prime Minister Narendra Modi with sticks if he is unable to address the issue of unemployment in the country.
“The Prime Minister is delivering speeches now, but six months later, he will not be able to even leave his home. The youth of India will beat him up with sticks and make him understand that this country will not be able to make progress until jobs are provided to them,” the Congress leader had said while addressing a rally for the party candidate in Delhi polls.
But Prime Minister avoids to mention that since 2014 how many leaders have abused every member of Gandhi family (from Rahul to priyanka and even Sonia Gandhi was attacked).
That is not all, PM Modi, Amit Shah and BJP leaders did not spare first Prime Minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru has been criticised by the BJP every now and then. but when people took to streets to raise voice against the policies of Modi government, Modi and BJP leaders use Nehru’s name to justify their act.
“Today is the day to acknowledge the support of all the young people belonging to All Bodo Students Union (ABSU), National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB), BTC Chief Hagrama Mohilary & Assam Govt, who played a very positive role for this agreement,” he said while addressing a public meeting in Kokrajhar.
“I welcome all those who were part of the Bodo Land Movement and have joined the mainstream. After five decades, with full harmony, the expectations and aspirations of every partner associated with the Bodo Land Movement have been respected,” he added.
