Jaipur, July 7: Responding to Narendra Modi’s”bail-gaadi” jibe, Congress launched a counter attack,saying that there are allegations of corruption on Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and Jay Shah, son of BJP President Amit Shah but no inquiry has been ordered by the government.
While addressing a press conference,Congress spokespersons RPN Singh said ” There are corruption charges on Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and Jay Shah, son of BJP President Amit Shah but Prime Minister Narendra Modi talks of corruption but avoided to order probe.”
“Congress wants to assure the people of the country that when Congres iwll come to power it will order probe on all the corruption scams of the BJP government and then these BJP men will not be on bail they will be in jail,” Singh added.
“Modi government is the first government who has imposed GST on farming products.”
Singh said, “Aware of the fact that farmers are unhappy with the policies of the BJP and Modi, they were not allowed to PM’s rally by the police.”
” PM Modi talks about corruption but there are allegations of corruption against his own party’s chief minister Vasundhara Raje and the PM has taken farmers from tractors to bullock carts,”Singh replied to
Modi’s swipe at Congress for being a “bail gaadi” as many of its leaders mired in court cases.
Pointing to the fact that the popularity of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has drastically reduced that BJP has threatened Secretaries of the state to ensure enough crowd for PM Modi’s rally.
Singh said Chief Secretary of LPG distribution federation, Rajasthan has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi stating that they were threatened to get people to PM’s rallies.
Singh said PM Modi is again misleading farmers by promising 50% MSP to farmers.
Referring to the honouring of lynching convicts by Union Minister Jayant Sinha , Singh said, “Lynching is the main issue in the country and it is highly shocking tat Modi’s minister is garlanding them.”
There are reports that Bharatiya Janata Party government in Rajasthan has spent Rs 7.23 crore on transportation for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rally in Jaipur .
