Rajgarh, June 23: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday inaugurated the Mohanpura Irrigation Project in Madhya Pradesh’s Rajgarh.
Addressing the gathering, Modi said “It is my privilege to inaugurate the Rs. 4,000 crore Mohanpura Irrigation project for the people of Madhya Pradesh”.

Modi arrived at the Raja Bhoj Airport around 12 p.m. He was received by Governor Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and other state ministers.
Following this, he headed to Mohanpura on a chopper to inaugurate the Mohanpura Irrigation Project in Rajgarh district. The Rs 3,866 crore irrigation project includes a dam and a canal system which would benefit 727 villages across the state.
