While campaigning  for UP polls,Congress vice President Rahul Gandhi compared the  ongoing Samajwadi party’s family power tussle to a ‘punctured cycle’  and attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi  for being famous for making false promises .

Rahul said,” SP ka tyre puncture  ho gaya hai, chain utar gayi , Akhilesh ji  baithe hue hai, who peddle chala rahe hai, cycle nahi chal rahi.”

He also took a potshot  at Samajwadi party supremo Mulayam Singh saying Mulayam inserted the punctured tyre in the cycle “Mulayam Singh Ji ne who pahiya uthake laga diya toh thoda confusion chal raha hai unke beech.”

The ‘Kisan Mahayatra’ across Uttar Pradesh undertaken by Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi reached Jhansi late on Saturday from Mahoba where he held a road show, mingled with the crowds and in his speech, again attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He said that Modi had made different promises to different people but charged him with not coming true on even a single promise made during the Lok Sabha elections. He also alleged that Modi was indifferent towards the poor and was tilted in favour of big businessmen and rich industrialists.

Demanding a loan waiver for farmers, Gandhi assured the farmers that if the Congress came to power in Uttar Pradesh, all their loans would be waived off. He also said that he would take their demand letter to the prime minister.
