Misty Saturday morning in Delhi

New Delhi, Feb 23: Delhiites woke up to a misty morning on Saturday with the minimum temperature recorded at 10.5 degrees Celsius, one notch below the season’s average.

“There was mist and shallow fog in the morning. The sky will mainly be clear in the day with strong surface winds blowing upto 20-25 knots,” news agency IANS quoted an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official as saying.

Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 77 per cent. The maximum temperature was likely to hover around 22 degrees Celsius.

On Friday, the maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 23.4 degrees Celsius, one notch below the normal, and 16.0 degrees Celsius, five notches above than the season’s average.
