New Delhi, Oct 15: Hundreds of Congress workers on Monday staged a protest outside the residence of Union Minister of State for External Affairs MJ Akbar demanding his resignation over allegations of sexual harassment.
The slogan-shouting Congress activists, waving flags and placards, marched to Akbar’s house but were stopped ahead of the residence by Delhi Police.

The Police also detained some of the party workers.
Akbar has been accused of sexual harassment by women journalists who had worked with him. However, the Minister has denied the charges and described them as “false, wild and baseless”.
