Mehbooba Mufti takes oath as CM, Nirmal Singh as deputy CM of J&K


Mehbooba Mufti, president of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), took oath as the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday morning, ending the political crisis which had eclipsed the state for almost three months.

Mufti and other leaders was administered the oath of the office by Governor N.N Vohra.

She becomes the 13th Chief Minister and the first woman CM of the beautiful yet blood-soaked state.

While, BJP leader Nirmal Singh takes oath as the deputy Chief Minister of state.

On the other hand, BJP MLA Bali Bhagat, Priya Sethi, Chaudhary Lal Singh, Haseeb Drabu, Chhering Dorje, BJP’s Abdul Ghani Kohli, Sunil Kumar Sharma as well as PDP leader Ghulam Nabi Lone, PDP’s Abdul Haq Khan , Syed Basharat Ahmed Bukhari, Asia Naqash, People’s Conference leader Sajjad Lone takes oath as a minister’s in Jammu and Kashmir government.
