Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) chief Mehbooba Mufti said after meeting PM Narendra Modi in national capital that the meet was very positive and I will go back to Srinagar and take the next step over the formation of Jammu and Kashmir government.
I have called a legislature party meeting on Thursday and will take further decision there, She added.
PDP president also said Stalemate (in J&K) continuing since 2,3 months. I feel positive after the meeting with PM.
However, Last week, She had met BJP president Amit Shah ,but returned to Jammu and Kashmir without a breakthrough and with top leaders of her party saying there was little hope now of bridging a gap between the two parties.
While the BJP’s stand was made clear by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, who said, “We are committed to the alliance agenda. Mehbooba has to make up her mind.”
Mufti’s departure for Delhi was preceded by that of three senior leaders of her party this morning fuelling hope in Jammu and Kashmir that channels of communication with the BJP have been once again opened.
