Mayawati’s ex-close mate Maurya to join BJP soon

The battle ground of Uttar Pradesh to win the upcoming Assembly elections is set for all political parties and for that no party wants to leave any stone unturned, at that time Bahujan Samajwadi Party (BJP), the party that rules the state for 10 continues years, is facing setback from its own party leaders over corrupt practices by Mayawati in ticket distribution for the upcoming polls.

After resigning, Former BSP leader Swami Prasad Maurya, once a close mate of BSP supremo, is all set to join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

However, earlier, Mayawati had launched a scathing attack on Maurya saying that he was “disloyal” and worked for “selfish interest”.

In the last two months, Mayawati has seen several main leaders quitting the party levelling serious allegations against her.

Last month, former party MLA Ravindra Nath Tripathi and RK Chowdhary had announced their resignation from the party, accusing Mayawati of digressing from the path of Dalit ideology.
