BSP chief Mayawati was also not so prompt like UP CM Akhilesh Yadav who reacted minutes after Modi’s speech at Gazipur and termed it as a show of false statements. But she came up with her very old firebrand mode and attacked PM Modi by all available resources.
While addressing a press conference at Lucknow, Mayawati said-
“The rally at Gazipur was a flop show, people did not turned up for this rally and they had managed the crowd by paying money. They gave 200-250 rupees each for attending the rally and they were transported via free vehicles. Some of them also got a handsome amount of 2000-2500 each at the last moment in order to exceed the crowd.”
“BJP used black money to organize this rally but then also it was a flop show and there were merely 20 thousand people.” She added.
Mayawati also alleged that most of the people were called from Bihar and said “BJP had politicized Indian railways also; the PM had forced the common man to stand in a queue.” She also raised a question by saying “why did they decide everything in a hurry? If the arrangements were being made from past ten months then why the entire country is facing a jolt? ”
“People are facing the hardest days of their lives, there is no money in banks and ATMs are useless. The poor is taking sleeping pills and the rich is sleeping peacefully. PM had fabricated fake announcements in his speech and had described the reality in an opposite manner. The rich are in no loss and BJP had also converted its black money into white.” She added.
She also took a jibe on Modi’s agenda for development of “poorvanchal” (east UP) and said ” He had done nothing for poorvanchal, neither the ffertiliser factory had started yet, he had only laid foundation stone till date. BJP is trying to deviate the interest because elections are about to happen. They will be punished by the people very soon. “People of Poorvanchal demand a separate state, but Modi is not serious over this issue.”
From past two months, Mayawati is strategically attacking Modi and BJP after every move and she is addressing the media at regular intervals, insiders in BSP believe that she is in no mood to be at number two or three and she wants to have a head on head fight with BJP before claiming final fight with SP.
A senior BSP leader and MLA from Poorvanchal Tribhuvan Ram told WFN “Bahanjee is well aware about the gimmicks created by BJP and she is countering them regularly, BSP is gaining an undercurrent gradually and her rallies will add more to our victory in upcoming days.
While UP BJP spokesperson Vijay Bahadur Pathak told WFN “It is her grief which is coming out in the name of black money, she is in shock after Modi ji had taken such serious and crucial decision, very soon she will come to know that BSP had faded away completely.” On the other hand SP Supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav is also planning to address a rally at Gazipur in the last week of November; political pundits hope that he will also churn the famous red coloured “poorvanchal” curd for his political benefits.
