A fire broke out on Friday in the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) Office in East Delhi’s Karkardooma area. At least 22 fire tenders are at the spot trying to douse the fire.
Authorities are trying to ascertain the cause of the fire and no casualties have been reported so far from the site.
According to reports, the Delhi Fire Service received a call at 1:50 pm regarding a fire at the DGHS office, which is an extension of Ministry of Health, in Karkardooma. The fire department immediately dispatched 22 fire tenders to douse the fire inside the government building.
While talking to media, Chief Fire Officer Atul Garg said, “More than 60 fire personnel have been deployed in the fire fighting operation.
No casualty has been reported.
