Malpractice in certification of brain dead in Kerala: SC asks petitioner to bring evidence

New Delhi, July 2 : The Supreme Court has asked the petitioner,who filed a PIL on malpractice by private hospitals in Kerala that certify patients as brain dead in order to harvest their organs for transplant, to bring on record some evidence.

The bench also asked the petitioner to make some hospitals as parties in the case.

A bench headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi posts the matter for hearing after four weeks.
