Maharashtra: Coach of Madurai express derails in Khandala

Mumbai, July 6: A Seating cum Luggage Rake (SLR) coach of Madurai express derailed in Maharashtra’s Khandala on early Friday morning. 

According to the reports, the derailment took place at around 3:30 am.

The affected coach was detached from the train and services were resumed within an hour. Traffic on other routes wasn’t affected.

So far no casualties have been reported.

This comes nearly two days after three coaches of the Pooja Superfast Express derailed in Phulera district of Rajasthan.
