Maharashtra, Aug 28: Atleast 8 people killed including the bus’ driver, cleaner & six passengers and 13 injured in a collision between a bus and a truck near Mathade Wasti on Monday.
The bus was proceeding from Trimbakeshwar in Nashik and heading towards Pune when it rammed into the stationary tempo near Narayangaon around 1.30 a.m. The tempo was parked near the divider of the Pune-Nashik highway.

As per the police, it was raining heavily and the bus driver might have missed detecting the punctured tempo loaded with onions parked on the highway.
Among the injured, 5 were said to be critical.
Meanwhile, with the victims’ bodies being completely disfigured, the investigating officers V.A. Waghmare and A.L. Gorad have appealed to their kins and others on the social media to come forward and help in identifying them.
