Madhya Pradesh: 2-storey building collapses in Vidisha

Bhopal, July 30: A two-storey building collapsed in Vidisha district of Madhya Pradesh on Monday. 

Three persons have been reportedly rescued till now and several feared trapped under the debris of the building. Rescue operations underway.

In a similar incident, a wall at an under-construction site in Ahmedabad collapsed, damaging a car and a JCB. No injuries reported.

Several instances of building collapse have been surfaced across the country within the last 15 days.

Last week, a three-storey building collapsed in Greater Noida’s Mubarakpur.

Earlier on July 23, two people lost their lives after an under-construction five-storey building collapsed in Ghaziabad’s Masuri area.

Two people lost their lives after the roof of a house collapsed in Harsh Vihar near Dwarka at on July 22.

Prior to this, on July 19, a six-floor building under construction crashed on a five-storey building next to it, bringing it down as well, in Shahberi village. Nine people, including an 18-month-old toddler, were killed in the incident.
