Lucknow’s Haj House painted saffron by Yogi Govt

New Delhi, Jan 5: The exterior walls of Haj House in Lucknow has been painted saffron by Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh.

From the Haj House, pilgrimage actually commences as it is a transit and facilitation point for pilgrims going to Mecca from Uttar Pradesh.

The boundary wall of the Hajj House was in green and white earlier.

Reacting to this, UP Minister  Mohsin Raza said, there is no need for controversy in such things, saffron is an energetic and bright looking colour, the building looks beautiful. The opposition has no big issues against us so they raise inconsequential things.

Since the BJP government came into the power has been on a drive to paint buildings saffron. As earlier in last October, it has painted saffron colour on Uttar Pradesh chief secretariat annex building known as Annexe and Lal Bahadur Shastri Bhawan.
