New Delhi, July 27: Soon an hour after Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar took oath with the BJP as an alliance partner in his government, Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated him and said he was looking forward to working together for Bihar’s progress.
Modi also wished Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi, who is a senior BJP leader.
PM took twitter to grant his wishes to both the leaders.
“Congratulations to Nitish Kumarji and Sushil Modiji. Looking forward to working together for Bihar’s progress and prosperity,” Modi said in a tweet.
Nitish Kumar sworned and resumed post within less than 24 hours of quitting the Grand Alliance with the Rashtriya Janata Dal and the Congress over corruption charges levelled against former Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav.
On Wednesday evening, Kumar resigned as the Chief Minister of the Grand Alliance.
