Patna, Aug 1: Taking a jibe at Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar, RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav called him as ‘palturam’ of politics and accused JDU leader of being greedy for power.
Addressing a press conference, RJD chief said he gave political support to him during student union elections in the 1970s.
Yadav stated he is senior to Nitish Kumar in Bihar politics and made efforts to make his political career shine.
The RJD chief said it was Kumar who pleaded to give him a term as chief minister of Bihar.
For the sake of the seat, Nitish Kumar even wanted to sacrifice my sons, Yadav added.
Targeting Nitish Kumar for his remark that no one can beat Narendra Modi in 2019, Lalu Prasad said the Bihar chief minister of colluding with Modi since the beginning.
