Lalu denies tussle with Nitish, says alliance rock solid

Presidential Election,

Bihar, Sep 16, 2016: The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, who is part of Bihar’s biggest coalition government, denied reports of differences with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar as he asserted that there were no differences between him and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, insisting that their “mahagatbandhan” is intact.

Yadav’s statement came after Bahubali leader Shahabuddin had said that he did not consider Nitish as a leader but an accidental chief minister.

“Nitish is the leader of the grand alliance government. The BJP has no other issue than Shahabuddin. It is the judiciary that has granted bail to Shahabuddin,” said Yadav.

Meanwhile, According to reports, Lalu said, “Shahabuddin was released on a court order. The entire controversy is needless,” Lalu Yadav told reporters, when asked about RJD strongman Mohammad Shahabuddin who was recently released on bail in a murder case.

But Yadav would be embarrassed with the revelation of damning photographs featuring his older son Tej Pratap, a minister, with Shahabuddin as well as an accused in the murder of journalist Rajdeo Ranjan.
