The Pakistani fan of Indian star Cricketer Virat Kohli, who was arrested for hoisting an Indian flag, now has granted bail by a court in the country’s Punjab province.
The additional district and sessions court in Okara accepted the bail plea of Umer Daraz, who has was in jail for over a month .
Daraz was arrested for hoisting an Indian flag on the rooftop of his house, on January.
Previously his bail plea was rejected by a magistrate, Aneeq Anwer on February 18.
Later, a fresh bail plea was filed again in the court of Additional District and Sessions Judge Asadullah Siraj.
The court admitted Daraz’s bail plea and ordered him to furnish a surety bond of Rs.50,000 on Friday.
Daraz will submit the bond on Saturday and will be free after getting the bail.
