The knife-killing man who killed at least 19 persons and injured 45 others in a facility for handicapped people in Japan’s Sagamihara city near Tokyo has been arrested.
Police arrested the man in his 20s, when he turned himself in at police station and owned up to the attack.
A neighbour of the facility, told that a man with blonde hair and in black clothes was held by police.
He is reportedly being held on initial suspicion of attempted murder. The man used to work at the facility, the police said.
The facility provides accommodations and day-care services for people with disabilities, and has a swimming pool, gym and medical clinic.
