Kim Jong-nam killing: Malaysia charges two women with murder

Bangkok, March 1: A Malaysian judge on Wednesday charged two women with the murder of the North Korean leader’s half-brother, a media report said.

The women, Doan Thi Huong from Vietnam and Siti Aisyah from Indonesia, allegedly smeared deadly VX nerve agent on Kim’s face in Kuala Lumpur airport on 13 February.Kim Jong namThe judge said that both women planned the murder of Kim Jong-nam together with four other North Koreans who fled the country shortly after the crime, according to Channel News Asia.

They appeared in court in the Malaysian capital amidst high-security cover by special forces. They could face the death penalty if convicted of murder.
