Sydney, June 25: Shining India’s name in the field of sports across the world, Indian shuttler Kidambi Srikanth stayed committed in his dominating run to clinch the Australian Open Super Series men’s singles final in Sydney on Sunday.
He expressed after winning that is was a very tough game and he is very happy with his performance.
In less than 30 minutes, Kidambi Srikanth managed to outclass Chinese China’s Chen Long 22-20, 21-16 in straight games to win the series.
This was the third straight Super Series final win for Srikanth who had only last week secured the Indonesian Open.
The badminton starrer player was rewarded with Rs 5 lakh cash by the Badminton Association of India.
