Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal termed as “bizarre” the media reports that reveals pollution levels in the national capital had increased despite the odd-even traffic scheme.

As per media reports, on the second day of odd-even Phase II, increase in gaseous pollution (NO2) and a high concentration of particulate matter (PM) was registered in some areas of Delhi, though the Delhi government claimed a positive impact on Delhi’s air quality. Despite the traffic control scheme is in force from April 15 to April 30 the results reportedly turning out to be negative till yet.
According to the odd even scheme, the four wheeler petrol and diesel vehicles with odd number will ply on odd date and cars with even numbers will ply on even date.
