Kashmir: Militants attack CRPF, five troopers injured


There has been a militant attack on security forces in a south Kashmir village on Monday and it has left five paramilitary troopers.

The distrusted militants tossed a grenade at a road opening party of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) near Wanpoh village of Kulgam.

The grenade couldn’t hit the target and exploded on the roadside but left five troopers injured. The five CRPF men have been hospitalized.

After the encounter of Hizbul commander Burhan Wani, the unrest in Kashmir triggered. The unrest is ongoing and 90 people have been killed now. Kulgam district is the most affected area in the current unrest.
