Former Indian winning captain Kapil Dev will ring the bell in the second test against New Zealand, announced by CAB president Sourav Ganguly on Monday.
It will be India’s 250th on home ground.

The bell which is to be installed on Tuesday is made of brass with a top coating of silver. The bell will be brought from Chandigarh.
For making the occasion special , a gold coin will be used for tossing and that coin will be used for every match in Eden garden.
Anurag Thakur, BCCI president is likely to reach in the city on October 1. Thakur will hand over the specially-minted silver coins on Day 3 of the five-day affair.
