New Delhi, July 22 :  Senior Congress leader Kapil Sibal took to twitter on Sunday over the latest incident of Alwar lynching, saying that democracy is being lynched under the NDA government and questioned the insensitive argument put forward by Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal that if PM Narendra Modi’s popularity will increase, lynching incidents will increase subsequently.

“Rakbar lynched,Democracy lynched,Union minister says :Result of PM’s popularity Logic : if PM’s popularity increases there will be more lynching Desh badal raha hai !, ” Kapil Sibal tweeted.

Sibal slammed  Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not taking action against rising lynching cases in the country , rather attaching a bizarre logic behind the rising incidents of lynching across the country..

Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal said, “The more popular Modiji becomes, the more such incidents will happen. In Bihar elections, it was ‘award wapsi’. In Uttar Pradesh elections, it was again mob lynching. In 2019 elections, it will be something else.”

28-year-old Akbar alias Rakbar was taking some cows to his village through a forest near Lalawandi area in the Alwar distrcit of Rajasthan when some locals allegedly thrashed him brutally, suspecting him to be a cow smuggler.
