JNU missing student’s case handed over to Crime Branch


New Delhi, Nov 12: As the Delhi Police is unable to ascertain the whereabouts of Najeeb Ahmed, a missing student of renowned Jawaharlal Nehru University, the case has been transferred to the crime branch.

The Delhi Police has handed over the case to its Crime Branch for further investigation.

Najeeb Ahmed, 27, a first-year M.Sc. student, went missing from the JNU hostel on October 15, allegedly after a brawl with the members of RSS-backed Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad.
